frei-raum.berlin is an art space for audiovisual art. In collaboration with international artists from Berlin, we explore formats that connect sound and visual art: The art space as a space for listening, public experiences, readings and lingering.
In addition to the presentation of the works, the focus is also on the creation of publications and editions.
The cooperation with other artists opens up new perspectives and synergetic formats in sound art, sound and visual art. This creates a multi-sensory experience for the audience. Working on collaborative projects at the interface of sound, image and space leads to a rich and inspiring artistic experience and experientiality.

frei-raum.berlin ist ein Kunstraum für audiovisuelle Kunst. In Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Künstler:innen aus Berlin erkunden wir Formate, die die Verbindung von Klang und visueller Kunst erforschen: Der Kunstraum als Raum des Zuhörens, der öffentlichen Erfahrungen, Lesungen und des Verweilens.Neben der Präsentation der Werke steht auch die Erstellung von Publikationen und Editionen im Vordergrund.Die Kooperation mit anderen Künstler:innen eröffnet neue Perspektiven und synergetische Formate in Soundart, Klang und visueller Kunst. Dadurch entsteht ein multisensorisches Erlebnis für das Publikum. Die Arbeit an kollaborativen Projekten an der Schnittstelle von Klang, Bild und Raum führt zu einer reichen und inspirierenden künstlerischen Erfahrung und Erfahrbarkeit.
